This document explains how to handle pre-alerts and warehouse receipts if the client requests to receive them:
1) On navigator BackOffice, Go to the Clients tab
2) Find the client, and click on the V tab on the left side next to the Edit button where the client is.
3) Click on the contacts tab, and create a new contact with +.
NOTE: Some clients have contacts to configure under them
4) The two contacts we are working with here are the WAREHOUSE-RECEIPT and the AUTO_PRE_ALERT.
- The warehouse receipts are triggered when an order is landed in the warehouse and turned to stock. The pre-alert is triggered when the goods are dispatched.
Example:
When Creating the contact for the client, put contact type as AUTO_PRE_ALERT. Then, put the name of the contact and the contact email. Click save.
NOTE: You can always edit the contact later. So let's say if a ticket asks to remove an email from the warehouse receipts, you remove the contact.
If we need to enable this by Vessel, go to the Vessels tab
1) Click the Vessel, go to contacts, add contact, and go through the same process as before.
- Keep in mind here that you will see tabs at the top: WH Notification Flag, Notify Stock Email Flag, Warehouse PDF, and Supplier Invoice.
- If the clients want the PDF and the invoice, make sure to set the Warehouse PDF and Supplier Invoice tabs to active. These options pop up when you put in the contact type WAREHOUSE-RECEIPT.
Note: If the email is not correct, an error will occur. If you need to put multiple emails, separate them by space.
